Excellent physical therapists. Would recommend

Everyone has been super kind that I have interacted with, my care team is empathetic to me and listen to my pain levels and adjust. Aquatic therapy has been so incredibly helpful and I’m glad to have found it accessible here. Just wish there was a little more privacy all the sessions I have had are either in their main room with beds open to one another or in the shared gym pool. But that’s purely my own self consciousness at play and not pivotal to my care.

I came here with constant vertigo and I can say I’m feeling 70% better and I have Hope that I will continue to get better with all the great exercises and tools IKEA and Scott shared with me. The team at Sac Spine & PT on Lead Hill is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and compassionate. The minute you walk in you welcomed with a friendly greeting and I want to thank them all for their guidance and care. 💕

The staff at Sac Spine are all amazing. They are so kind and supportive but don’t make you feel guilty when life gets in the way as long as there is forward progress. They are so attentive and I can tell they actually care. It is great. I have seen Kirstie and David and they are both nice and fun to work with. I appreciate them so much.

I cannot recommend this clinic enough. I came in with a severely injured lower back—multiple damaged discs and even a vertebra out of place. On top of that, I was dealing with significant neck issues that caused nerve pain down both arms. I struggled with swallowing, occasionally felt like I was blacking out from probably from my Chiari malformation, and was living with stage-two hypertension. I’m hypermobile and only 31, and at the time I could barely move. Standing up or sitting down too quickly made me lightheaded. Typing and even walking were painful. I truly felt like my body was giving out. Fast-forward about three months, and I feel incredible. My pain is gone. I can squat again, which if you know hypermobility and Heds, it feels unreal to do that again. From day one, I felt they understood hypermobility and how to treat it properly. There were days I walked out feeling like a kind of inner peace in parts of my body I didn’t even realize had been hurting. In just four months even my blood pressure has returned to normal and swallowing issues are all gone. I feel like I can return to normal life, activity, and exercise—things have not been capable of doing in years. I worked with Becky (Doctor of PT), Robert, and David, and they were phenomenal. I got my life back, so I have to give them this shout-out and recommend them for anyone hypermobile. This place is worth a shot if you have EDS as well.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Physical Therapy Team – Chris Lewis & Martin Giampaoli I cannot say enough good things about Chris Lewis and Martin Giampaoli. After a terrible experience with a previous physical therapist, I was nervous and honestly pretty gun-shy about starting over somewhere new. I didn’t have referrals at the time—only what I could find online. That’s when I met Chris and Marty. Chris became my lead therapist and Marty was the bonus team member I didn’t even know I needed. With Chris’s careful oversight and Martin’s constant encouragement, I got through my right knee replacement and achieved solid range of motion even though my recovery started off rough. Their approach is professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient-centered. Fast forward to October 2025: I had my left knee replaced. When my doctor asked if I had a therapist in mind, I immediately said yes. I found out that Chris and Martin were now at Sacramento Spine & Rehabilitation, and I couldn’t have been happier to reunite with them. This second knee replacement has gone so much smoother, and I know with the help of the excellent therapy Chris provides and the steady motivation Martin brings to every session, I couldn’t be better off! Just a couple of weeks ago, I wasn’t sure how this recovery would go—but after my first appointment with them, I knew I was in the right hands and that I’d be back on my feet. If you are looking for skilled, compassionate, consistent physical therapists who truly care about your progress, look no further. Chris and Martin are exceptional.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have more reviews. I have had constant back pain for years. I’ve tried everything from other PTs and chiropractors and and this was the only place that helped. I have been seeing Joe for years now. He is a miracle worker and Travis (the owner) is a really great guy. A lot of his staff has been there for multiple decades showing you he takes care of them as well. Highly recommend!

Top notch care and effective treatment. Have been in for shoulder issues. They’re busy but worth the wait if you can. Megan, David and the entire staff is excellent and know their stuff. Highly recommended.

Had my first visit this week with Becky. She is infectiously optimistic, and is determined to help everyone who comes there. Unfortunately, I have been dealing with a lot of anxiety so, I became sick during my first visit. They had the fan blowing in me, and tried everything to help me calm. I will say, I got to 93% only a week after mua. So I am confident, that doing PT here will have me better than normal, in a few weeks .

Tori and all the ladies tha work at the front desk are excellent receptionists with great customer service. And the physical therapy ppl tha help me. Becky, David ruggles & Shawn are just amazing ppl to work with. And Jeff which I believe is the Director he is one amazing Director. Love this place n the ppl they really care about getting u back in tack . Thanx alot 🤗❤️

This is for Folsom location: Well, before I made appointment for my work related injury - this was in 2016 and 2017, I talked with the manager/owner who himself was a physical therapist and he got me Marsha. Marsha was the best. 1 1/2 -2 years later, when I had a personal injury and of course, Marsha figured out for me what's wrong with my right hip. Toward the end of my therapy sessions, I found out Marsha has a Ph.D. in Physical Therapy. That explains why she is very knowledgeable unlike the person whose name began with J who uses trial and errors as if I was a guinea pig every time she filled in for Marsha. Do not be discouraged by this. You just have to be an advocate for yourself and do not make the mistake of giving another chance to anyone when it comes to your health. This J__NEVER failed to NOT read Marsha's instruction unlike the other guy - I forget his name - and ALWAYS act like she knows so much more, probably, to compensate for her lack of skills and lack of common sense. So, it was my mistake to give her (J---) another chance *months later* when Marsha was going to be out of office. She (J___) messed me up so badly that I became bedridden for a few days and could not prepare the exhibits I need to provide for the trial hearing relating to an old work injury and my case got dismissed by the judge. So, I warn you people, especially if you are a non-white foreigner like me, trust that woman "J--" at your risk. But, I do recommend this place over any other place in Sacramento area.

Took me years to find a good physical therapy place in Folsom. I'd tried Burger, the Folsom Hospital and a few others, but they were no help. Finally someone recommended Sacramento Spine & Physical Therapy ., and they are GREAT! I normally use Robert and Joe, but I've also been seen by most of the other therapist and haven't found a bad one yet. They're located right next/connected to Family Fitness on Oak Ave, and there's dedicated parking just for patients. Also, if you have to bring your kids along, they will watch them in the main kid center. You can also workout before or after your appointment for free. Speaking of working out, don't forget to ask about a special low monthly membership price for patients and their families.

All of my PT visits have been outstanding! This place has top notch physical therapist who listen to you and help you meet your goals! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
