I graduated in 2020 from UOP and jumped immediately into an orthopedic residency. My residency focused on general orthopedics and pain science as well as sports medicine with sideline football at Saint Mary's High School (Stockton, CA). I continued my education in sports med working sideline football at Lincoln High School (Stockton, CA) including heavy collaboration with the Athletic Trainer. Additional continuing education has grown my understanding of pain behavior (both psychologically and physiologically), manual techniques, and movement science.
Personal Interests:
I have gotten heavily into exploration and travel. Kicked it off by hiking Half Dome. Then, I started my travels with Argentina and Antarctica hiking with penguins and whale watching. Followed by a road trip from Washington to Calgary and spent some time in Banff National Park. Next stop is Ireland, England, and France in the fall. I have also recently reignited my love for reading and continue to try and read at least one book a month. Typically fantasy, fiction, or horror but I also enjoy autobiographies and psychology based nonfiction.
Hobbies and Interests:
I will find any excuse to get outside and do any activity that leaves me refreshed and grounded (or involves my dog). I enjoy yoga, SUP, golf, volleyball, and hiking.
